As part of Promasidor Nigeria's continued efforts to bolster backward integration initiatives and accelerate local food production in the country, the company recently participated in a UN WFP’s (World Food Project) scheme – The Zero Hunger Sprint innovation Challenge.

Promasidor Nigeria earned a Donation Certificate from the Lagos Food Bank Initiative in appreciation of its support towards the Covid-19 Emergency Food Intervention Program.

1 June, 2021, is World Milk Day. To celebrate this day, Promasidor Nigeria made donations to some Motherless Children Homes in Lagos metropolis.

On the 18 March 2021, Promasidor donated food items from its staff Christmas gifts to Isolo SOS Children’s Village as support for the children. The SOS village provides support to orphans and children from vulnerable families.

Our Managing Director, Anders Einarsson announced that Promasidor Nigeria will contribute over N280 Million to fight COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria, during a press conference held at the company’s head office in Isolo, Lagos on Thursday 30th of April 2020.

Promasidor Nigeria has provided much needed assistance to more than 60 parents of children with disabilities through its low-interest microcredit scheme christened We Too Can Grow in advancement of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) policy.

A Lagos State lawmaker, Desmond Eliot, the Executive Chairman of Lagos State Sports Council, Dr. Kweku Tandoh and a former President of the Athletes Federation of Nigeria (AFN), Mr. Toni Urhobo have advocated for programmes that would encourage and support kids who are talented in different sports.

The Ogun State Government has commended Promasidor Nigeria for initiating a career guidance workshop for secondary school students, describing it as a laudable effort towards the development of education and youth empowerment in the country.

For nearly twenty years Cowbell has been at the forefront of mathematics development in Nigeria. In 1998, the first Cowbell Mathematics competition was held in Lagos state and was expanded to incorporate all of Nigeria in 2001. The competition is open to all junior and senior secondary schools in the country and admittance is free.
