PNG gets recertified ISO 22000:2018 for Food Safety Management System (FSMS) Certificate
On Thursday, 30 March the Quality Assurance Department and the PNG Food Safety Team presented the recertified ISO 22000:2018 Food Safety Management System Certificate to the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Bruno Gruwez at the head office in Isolo, Lagos.
PNG was first certified for Food Safety Management System (FSMS) in February 2013 by the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON).
Mr. Bruno Gruwez thanked the team for a job well done and enjoined them to do more to maintain the FSMS based on the principles of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) across our factories.
2023 marks the 10th anniversary of PNG’s continuous implementation of the global best practices in the management of food safety programmes across our factories in line with ISO 22000:2018 FSMS.
