Promasidor Nigeria sponsored a Four-year PhD Research Work
Spurred by its Corporate Responsibility, Promasidor Nigeria sponsored a Four-year PhD research work under the National Office for Technology Acquisition and Promotion (NOTAP)’s - INDUSTRY TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER FELLOWSHIP (NITTF) on the Evaluation of Nutritional Value.
Dr. Modu Kagu Hajja Ashe, who was the beneficiary of the sponsorship, published a thesis titled “Evaluation of Nutritional Value of Selected Feed for Crossbred Lactating Cows in Semi-Arid Environment in Nigeria”. The hardbound copy of the summary of the research work was presented to Promasidor on the 18 July 2022 at the head office in Isolo, Lagos.
The Director General (DG) of NOTAP, Dr Dan Azumi Mohammed Ibrahim, on behalf of the beneficiary, who was not present due to health challenges, presented the thesis to Promasidor during his official visit to Lagos.
The Finance Director of Promasidor Nigeria, Mr Ryan Martin and the Technical Director, Mr Jean-Robert Thouanel were at the forefront of the PNG team that hosted the guests during the presentation and visit by Dr Dan Azumi and his team of four officials of the government body.
The delegation expressed appreciation to PNG for the research work sponsorship over a period of four years. In turn, the Promasidor team welcomed and appraised the delegation of the company’s backward integration initiative - Ikun Dairy Farm in Ekiti State.
