Promasidor Nigeria donates 1000 hockey sticks to 24 secondary schools in Lagos State
Over 600 students benefitted from the presentation, which was held by Head, Legal and PR, Promasidor, Mr Andrew Enahoro. Enahoro noted that the donations done in association with BME Concern and Ripples were directed towards two principal platforms - supporting children who have an interest in the game, but could not afford the sticks, and also keeping them off the streets by engaging them in a meaningful sporting activity with potential to develop their character.
Tunde Popoola, Chairman of Lagos State Hockey Association, commended Promasidor and Ripples, noting that the donation is the biggest support that the game of hockey has received from any corporate or private body in the last 25 years.
